Dear Friends,
Let me begin by saying how much your faithful friendship, prayers and support have meant to Darlene and me, especially during the final months of 2025. Without you we simply would not be able to do our part to share the gospel with the whole world.

But now that the busy-ness of the holidays is over, and life is back to “normal,” many of us are realizing that life is hard. It’s especially difficult if you have lost a loved one right in the middle of what should be the “most wonderful time of the year,” as the song goes.
Or, you may have tragically learned that you or a loved one are facing a difficult and painful future because of an illness or an injury. If that describes you, Joni Eareckson Tada and Michael Easley understand! Joni became a quadriplegic at the age of 17, and has been living in a wheelchair now for nearly 60 years. Michael had to leave a pastorate because of chronic debilitating pain.
We invited Joni and Michael to share their stories with us in a series we entitled “Where Is God When Life Hurts?” During this series they will answer questions such as: “If I have to live with a life-altering disability or illness for the rest of my life, how can I trust God with my future? How can God keep me from being discouraged and going into depression? Where does Scripture teach that even if you are paralyzed, sick, or disabled, you are still very important to God and your life is valuable to Him? Now, we want to bring you a report on the Audio Bibles that you have provided over the past few months. We are so grateful to report that nearly 21 million people are in listening groups hearing and learning from God’s Word in their own heart language!
Here is the story of a woman whose life had been ruled by her husband’s additions. One night, she dreamed of a small box that spoke words of comfort she clearly understood: “Eva, I love you. I want you to return to Me.” Then Eva met a pastor who led a Bible listening group. When he showed her the Proclaimer, Eva exclaimed, “That’s it! That’s what I saw in my dream.” After hearing Scripture in her language, Eva accepted Christ, and found new strength in God’s Word. As Hari observed the effect God’s Word had on his wife, he grew curious. Although he has not yet fully committed to Christ, he has begun to open his heart to the gospel.
That is the real world result of the Audio Bibles you have helped send around the world! More than 10.5 million people like Eva have opened their hearts to Christ! “The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23)!
