Dear Friends,
I want to thank you for your friendship, prayers, and support of our ministry. Because of your gifts God is giving us tremendous opportunities to broadcast the gospel into countries in every part of the world. The one country we can’t get in is Communist China—but even there, wealthy Chinese are watching our programs via satellite in secret. Isn’t that incredible?
As you know, our television programs boldly compare the Bible with other worldviews—religious or secular—to show that God’s Word not only holds up, but does so with compelling, verifiable evidence.
Recently, God expanded our TV outreach into the 10/40 Window of the world. This region encompasses 69 nations where over 5.4 billion people live.
I’m concerned because 3.45 billion of these people are considered unreached and have never heard the gospel. But because of your support, our programs are now being broadcast to these people. Please pray earnestly that God will draw millions of viewers to our TV broadcasts, YouTube, and our websites, and bring many to faith in Jesus.
Now a quick update on the people you have provided Audio Bibles for in 83 different nations. As a result of your gifts, we now have 20,368,308 people in listening groups hearing the Bible in their own language.
National Christians on the ground have told us that approximately half of all these people have already accepted Christ as their Savior. More will do so as they listen day after day.
Next, beginning this month we are airing an exciting new television series called, “Does Advancing Science Today Refute or Prove Genesis?”
In these programs, I sit down with astronomer and astrophysicist Dr. Hugh Ross to explore how the latest scientific discoveries are aligning with the biblical account of creation and confirming the truth of Scripture from Genesis chapters 1 through 11.
Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” According to this verse, the whole universe came into existence, entirely new, a finite time ago, by the creative act of God. No other “holy book” makes such a claim on its own. The concept appears elsewhere only in those books that borrow from the Bible, such as the Qur’an and the Mormon writings.
In our series with Dr. Ross, you’ll hear powerful answers to the questions skeptics ask most often and you’ll be equipped to share both the gospel and the credibility of God’s Word with friends.
