FROM THE DESK OF JOHN
I am glad to report that we now have over 18 million people gathering in groups to listen to the Bible. At the time I am writing this letter, Faith Comes By Hearing reports that the actual number of people our donors are reaching is 18,611,409 people in 83 nations listening in 253 languages. That is a huge number of people!
You should see the excitement as people in these nations hear how they are loved by God so much that He sent His Son to this earth to die and pay for their sins. Jesus then rose from the dead, is living now, and offers to come into their lives, forgive their sins, defeat the demonic, and never leave them. When they die, God promises to take them to heaven.
To those of you who have given Audio Bibles, God promises:
“For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” (Mark 9:41)
“For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.” (Hebrews 6:10)
On television this February, I am going to air a series entitled “Do Roman Catholics and Protestants Now Agree?”
You may have noticed that Catholics and Protestants have increasingly found themselves working together, protesting against abortion, fighting pornography, and guarding against the loss of religious freedoms in the courts. In the past this led 20 highly respected Roman Catholics leaders to link hands with 20 highly respected Evangelical Protestant leaders to sign an Evangelicals and Catholics Together document calling for full identification of Catholics and Evangelicals as brothers and sisters in Christ.
But when the document was released, it raised questions over what Protestants historically believed on the watershed issue of justification by faith alone. This very important issue is still unresolved today.
I taped this television series with some of the actual leaders who participated in the events. My guests were Dr. D. James Kennedy, Dr. John MacArthur, and Dr. R. C. Sproul.
Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Sproul have since gone to heaven. But I want you to hear this historical edition of the John Ankerberg Show, because it will help you understand why Catholics and Protestants still differ today. We had a huge crowd for the taping, and I hosted the discussion. Don’t miss this series. I am making the 6 television programs available when you give a gift of $50 or more.
Then, this summer, why not take a vacation and join me on a magnificent cruise to Alaska, June 28 through July 5. Our adventure begins aboard Holland America’s luxurious Koningsdam, which will take us through the Inside Passage where we’ll see Alaska’s majestic glaciers, cascading waterfalls, wild forests, and towering snow capped mountains.
Draw close to God and enjoy special times of Bible study, music and worship as you hear from the Martins, a trio often featured at the Bill Gaither concerts, and also Michael O’Brien, former lead singer of NewSong. Pastor Gary Hamrick, prophecy scholar Jeff Kinley and I will together lay out what God says in Scripture He has planned for our world in the future.
Along the way you can explore quaint Alaskan towns such as Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, and Sitka. Celebrate with fellow believers and enjoy “The Prophecy & End Times Cruise” with John Ankerberg and Friends June 28-July 5, 2025. And you can book your cabin now online at inspirationtravel.com, or you can call them Monday through Friday at 1-888–600–3370.
Till the whole world hears,
John and Darlene
